It's Really Nifty, We're Turning Fifty!

2 weeks until our birthday party! I can't wait to see everyone! Please go through your FB friends and your phone books and spread the word to fellow classmates. Extend invites to other graduating classes and those from Valley Forge and Normandy.

Anyone interested in golfing, contact Howie and tell him you are with our party. The party starts at 6pm. There will be a 50/50 raffle (tickets are $5) and cash bar...so make sure you bring money.

We can use more door prizes! Ask your employers, or friends. Nothing is too small.

Also, does anyone have time to go to the Parma Alumni Site and email the few classmates listed? Let me know.

PARTY UPDATE!

Here is an update on our 50th birthday party:

Golfing is also available. $41 for 18 holes, $24 for 9 holes, both with a cart. Call Howie Murphy at Ridgewood Golf Course (440-888-1057) to schedule a T-off time. Make sure you mention that you are with our party. Golf is open to friends, family etc.

The party will start approximately at 6pm. As a gift to the class, I will be providing a very talented DJ (Lee Booth)and Kelly Eastin is supplying a extremely large birthday cake! Happy 50th to all of you!

1980's 50th Birthday Party

Parma Senior High Class of 1980 is planning a large party for all our friends. Everyone is invited! FREE admission with a cash bar, raffle and door prizes. It will be August 4th, 2012 at Ridgewood Golf Course 6505 Ridge Rd. Parma, Ohio Map 
The fun will begin at 6pm.

Are You Flying to Cleveland for the Party?

Start looking for cheap airfare or Amtrak tickets as soon as possible. The closer it gets to the date the fares may be higher. If you find any great deals please share with the rest of us!

Who is coming?

Our 50th birthday party will be August 4th 2012. The place will be determined soon. Mark your calendars and tell classmates. This is open to anyone who would like to attend.

Similar to the 30th reunion, admission will be free with a cash bar. Looking for anyone who would like to volunteer their time finding classmates and getting the word out.  We have no budget so there will not be any mailings. All info will be posted here and on our Facebook page

Golf Outing info Money Due July 25th

The details on golf would be as follows.. unless things were to change for some odd reason....

Golf would provide an opportunity to have some fun with friends and former classmates prior to the get together scheduled at Ridgewood Golf course clubhouse Saturday, August 7th following golf and ending around 1 AM.

Golf is for recreation only, skill level is not important and golf is not set up in outing format. 

Individuals can golf 18 holes or 9 holes.

Individuals can request the foursome they would like to play with (former classmates, spouses, friends) or individuals can sign up for golf in groups of two or even as a single golfer and be placed into a foursome.

Groups of four golfing 18 holes will be limited to about 52 total golfers and groups of four golfing 9 holes would be           limited to about 56 golfers. Thus, there is plenty of room for classmates, spouses and friends as mentioned earlier.     The limits are set to accommodate time for post golf social function at clubhouse.

There is no shotgun start tee times available. 18 hole golfers would start about 12:30 PM and 9 hole tee times would begin around 2 PM. This would all be dictated by the number of individuals participating.

Tee times will be assigned and individuals will be notified of their tee times prior to Sat. August 7th.
Cost for golf would be...18 holes and cart.......$40
                                    9 holes and cart.......$23
A $10 deposit for golf would be required.
